Morcor Solutions is incorporated. Originally a set up as a Pre-Press Consulting Firm, organizing newspaper workflow for the direct-to-film/direct-to-plate technology, Kenn Morrison's contact with newspaper and magazine production teams leads him to realize how desperately the industry needs automation for ad tracking and production. |

Xpance is implemented at The London Free-Press with over 30 users. Xpance is building and tracking over 40,000 ads per year at The London Free Press. Xpance has significantly decreased production errors, write-offs, and overtime hours. Xpance has saved in excess of $250,000 per year in pre-press costs due to improved throughput and automating many of the manual steps. The London Free Press has experienced zero hours down time since inception. Morcor spent the next year working closely with The London Free Press on improvements to Xpance, including the user interface, which is considered to be the most advanced in the industry, and the stability of the program, which has been described as bullet-proof. |

First US installation. The Elkhart Truth (Indiana) installation starts on a Wednesday and the interface to Baseview is operational by Friday. Xpance goes live on Monday and is paginating their entire classified section for Tuesday's Edition. Elkhart staff had tried for over 2 years to paginate the newspaper. Xpance allowed them to do it in 4 days. |

Xpance is installed in nine additional sites to bring the total installations to fourteen. The largest installation in 2000 was The Boston Herald with a Sybase DB, running OS9 and Multi-Ad Creator. |

Morcor installs Xpance at The San Diego Union-Tribune and trains over 100 individuals to create and manage their ads. Xpance manages thousands of ads and is integrated with seven remote sites. |

The Charleston Post & Courier chooses Xpance for their ad management solution. A new feature that is released is the automated pickup feature. Ads that are ordered from the business system are automatically created, checked for ad size, color information as well as other criteria. Once the ad passes site defined criteria, it is automatically generated, printed and proofed. |

XpanceX is released - the latest tracking application is rewritten from the ground up so that it runs under OSX, OS9 and Windows. Southampton Press (NY) installs a total PC workflow with XpanceX to manage all their ads. |

The St. Petersburg Times installs XpanceX and goes live the week before Thanksgiving. XpanceX has a new feature to extract ads from current systems to automatically import and mange them in XpanceX. Over 6,000 ads were imported into XpanceX over the weekend so they were live the first day! |

The Advocate in Baton Rouge performs an exhaustive search for potential vendors to replace their current ad tracking system. The committe unanimously choses XpanceX and XpanceNET to manage all their ads. The system is installed in three weeks and no overtime is required whatsoever. |

Morcor installs the 100th newspaper, The Miami Herald. This flagship property of Knight-Ridder installs XpanceX and XpanceNET to manage all their Spec and Display Ads. The whole installation is completed in a total of four weeks. |

Ads are booked and built and are automatically routed to sister newspapers for simple cross-selling capabilities. Production Managers at remote sites are informed where the ad is coming/going with a slick user interface. |

Pittsburgh Trib Total Media installs XpanceX and XpanceNET to manage all their ads. With multiple integrated newspapers, the workflow has been streamlined greatly. XpanceX replaced a competitors tracking system with the whole installation completed in four weeks. |
